Baking Classes
We have a fully equipped kitchen studio available at Block 10 Haig Road for baking classes. The studio seats about 12 people, and is a working kitchen with 2 Roller Grill convection ovens, Kenwood electric mixer, Magimix mixer, induction cookers, measuring tools, trays and utensils.
Our classes include recipes to take home, use of the baking equipment, utensils & aprons in class, and packaging to bring home your creations. Our instructors are personable and helpful in guiding the students during class and in answering any of their questions concerning baking. Cakes and other desserts are baked in class (either hands on or demonstration). We would never ask you to bring your own cake to class or wash the equipment! You are here to learn! Just come down and have an enjoyable experience with fellow bakers!
We are also happy to work with baking instructors or private groups who would like to host classes at our studio. We are able to loan appliances and sponsor our baking products. If you would like to know more about this, please contact us for more details.
How To Register for Baking Classes
Please note that all classes are held at Block 10 Haig Road #01-363/365.
1. Please take a look at our class schedule below to check the availability and dates of the classes or you can visit our Classes page.
2. Select the available class and time by clicking on the “Add To Cart” button.
3. Click on “Check Out” to fill in your particulars for class registration. Please note that you do not need to pay for shipping costs when purchasing a class.
IMPT: You will need to enter a Promo Code during Checkout to ensure you do not pay for shipping costs, use "BAKECLASS" for baking classes only.
4. Click “Review Order” to double check the purchase and then the “Submit Order” button to begin payment via PayPal.
Alternatively, you may also pay by cheque. Follow the above instructions to add the baking class to your Shopping Cart, but for the payment on the Check Out page, click on the option for “Cheque”. You will need to send a cheque payable to “Gim Hin Lee Pte Ltd” to 171 Kampong Ampat #03-08 Singapore 368330 with your name, telephone number and class details within 3 days of registration to confirm your seat in the class.
Registering for the class does not guarantee a spot in the class until full payment is made.
If a class is full, it will be indicated in the class description as “FULL”. You will then be unable to register for this class. Once payment is made, there will be no refunds for participants who are not able to attend the class. We reserve the right to cancel a class if there are not enough participants. Only participants who have already paid for cancelled classes will get a refund.
