About Us
Founded in 1952 by the late Mr Tan Yee Wan, Gim Hin Lee Pte Ltd specialises in the manufacture and distribution of baking ingredients in Singapore. We produce our own baking products under the brand Bake King. These include products such as food flavours, essences and colours, various types of flours and premixes, baking ingredients and additives, nuts, dried fruits, cake decorations and toppings, herbs and spices, and sugars and syrups. We also distribute quality products such as Billington’s unrefined Demerara, Muscovado and Molasses sugars, and Nordia/Siluett cake cases, doilies and glassine paper.
Our factory located at Kampong Ampat manufactures baking ingredients in accordance with the HACCP Based Food Safety System and was awarded the HACCP Certificate by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance in 2004.
Our retail outlet located at Haig Road carries all of our Bake King brand products in varying sizes, as well as an extensive array of baking and cooking ingredients, bakeware and utensils, cutters and moulds, cake cases and so on.
